Vestax PDT-4000 Turntable DJ Demo (Classic Vestax Decks)

The PST-4000 was published in the early '90s / mid and ran a little 'longer than the SL-1200MK2 Tehcnics. It 'was published prior to the patented design techniques would be eliminated and the engine uses a unique technology that I believe Vestax still used today. Vestax PDT-Series presented as a superior alternative to the Technics, and also had the Invisible Skratch Piklz sponsorship and live with them for a while '. It is said that designing Vestax Numark purchased. Some googling actually show an initial PDTPrototype Numark brand. In the event that it is hard to tell from the video that * a wooden cabinet and the table is quite heavy. The light gooseneck is * NOT * standard accessories, I bought it because it lights Vestax PDX-current LED lights, a voltage lower than the old bulb burn out and use when they are used on this model. A multimeter is to switch off the light 13v adapter, even if only suspected 12V output. If anyone can help me, find the original lamp that would be great.Performance-wise it is decent. A couple of these, even today, is a viable alternative Technics. As you can see in the video, the brake is not that great, but good enough for most purposes. I am using a Q-Bert Ortofon OM cartridge and Butter Rug. Sorry if its a demo underwhelming. I have the bridge is located on the right side of my mixer and am left handed. There is a bit 'far. Normally, the PDT is dedicated to my deck listening to a Grado DJ200 attached to it. Vestax deserves a little 'moreAs credit ...
